Traditional Chinese Acupuncture

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine is the oldest practice of medicine in the world, dating back 5,000 years. The science behind Acupuncture has been researched and proven effective to treat hundreds of different disorders. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine have made a profound effect on the world of preventative medicine.

The process of Acupuncture is the application of painless thin hair-like needles placed in points over the head and body. The treatments are extremely relaxing due to the release of certain chemicals and hormones from neurotransmitters in the brain like serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins. Therefore Acupuncture is extremely effective in treating stress, anxiety, and depression. Acupuncture helps to regulate the neuroendocrine system that calms the nervous system and regulates all of the endocrine glands, which intern regulates all of your hormones.

Acupuncture is also well known to treat pain and injury. Once the needles are inserted, the brain releases endorphin’s which are the body’s pain-killing hormones. The needles also provide an instantaneous relief of inflammation, not only locally to the injury, but systemically throughout the entire body. Acupuncture stimulates blood flow and circulation to all the organs in the body which increases the immune function, detoxification processes, decreases inflammation, and helps the body heal itself naturally.

Traditional Chinese Acupuncture treats the root cause of disease.
