what Should I expect from my first consultation and treatment?
In the consultation portion of the treatment will go over all of your health history, current condition, and any lab work that you may have. Dr. Reagan will answer any questions you may have. The treatment portion will be the last 45 minutes. The treatment will consist of painless hair-thin needles being placed all over the head and body in different acupuncture points. The treatment is extremely relaxing due to certain chemicals that are released from the brain like serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins. You will leave feeling very relaxed. A follow-up appointment is recommended for most conditions.
How Many treatments will it take to get better?
Depending on your condition and whether it is acute or chronic will determine the number of treatments you will need. If you’ve had the condition for a long time, then naturally it will take more treatments. If the condition is new and acute then it will take fewer treatments. You will start to feel a difference after the first couple of treatments. Acupuncture also works very well as a preventive medicine.
Do the needles Hurt?
The needles are thin hair like painless needles. There should not be any pain with the insertion of the needles. There is a “heavy” sensation that is unique to acupuncture and the acupuncture points, once the needle is inserted it catches what we call the “Qi” which is the energy flow through the body and you will feel a heavy sensation followed by euphoric feeling during the treatment.
What Should I do to prepare for my first appointment?
Please bring in any lab work that you may have had done that pertains to your appointment purpose. Please show up at least 10-15 minutes before your appointment to fill out the new patient paperwork.
Do you except insurance?
We do not accept HMO plans, as we are not in-network with any insurance companies. We can verify your benefits for PPO out of network plans, and if your benefits package cover Acupuncture for your condition then we can submit a claim as an out of network provider. A co-pay will be required at the time of the visit. An insurance superbly can be emailed to you after the treatment if you would like to seek reimbursement through your insurance company. *Lab testing is not covered within many benefits packages, please check on lab testing coverage when verifying benefits, (if lab testing is desired) *It is always a good idea for the patient to get verification of benefits from their insurance company as well as the provider.

Where should I buy the supplements and herbs she recommends?
Dr. Reagan has a pharmacy tab on her website that will direct you to her supplement shop. After your consultation, Dr. Reagan will make a cart for you with the suggested supplements and specific dosages for you. Once you have registered for an account in her supplement shop, then you will receive a link to access the cart that Dr. Reagan has made for you.
Where do i get my lab work done that Dr. Reagan orders?
Once you purchase your lab work from Direct Labs which is located under the “Work With Me” tab, then you will find a Lab Core or Quest Diagnostics closet to you and schedule a blood draw. You will bring in your confirmation of purchase letter to your appointment and they will draw your blood. Your lab results will be sent to you and Dr. Reagan with in 7 business days.
